GTECH G2, the supplier of interactive software for online gambling applications, has issued a press statement which states that the French bookmaker EuroSportBet, which has integrated the company’s sports betting platform MarginMaker, can now allow its players to place bets on horse races.

GTECH G2 stated that EuroSportBet was developed jointly and that the public application programming interfaces of the MarginMaker platform were used in order to create a version of EuroSportBet, which since June has allowed players to place bets on a host of sports including rugby, football and tennis.

“We very much look forward to helping EuroSportBet and its British counterpart EuroSportBetUK preserve their cutting-edge offerings in Great Britain and in France,” said the vice-president of sport betting for GTECH G2. “We are extremely thrilled by MarginMaker’s ability to take bets across many channels and integrate so seamlessly with a host of products.”

One of the few horse racing operators in France
GTECH G2 is a subsidiary of GTECH Corporation, the online gambling services company which is based in the United States. The company declared that the owner of EuroSportBet and its British counterpart, SPS SA, was ‘one of the first companies which was able to obtain a licence following the deregulation of the French online gambling market’ and remains ‘one of only a few operators who has obtained a licence for fixed-odds bets on sports’.

Frederic Tardieu, the programme manager for EuroSportBet, had the following to say about the cooperation between the two companies: “The team in charge of sports betting at GTECH G2 provided enormous support during the integration of the new PMC tote system on our MarginMaker platform, from the early stages of the integration to the finalisation of the changes.”

“We are now one of the few French legal online gambling operators who can offer their players sports betting, poker and betting on horse races.”

In this article I will introduce you some things to keep in mind for the game of Blackjack being one of the most attractive in the large size of the bets worldwide. Therefore we must examine very well all the transactions that we make and the different approaches that we make to our game details which can be highly recognized in the betting worldwide.

First to play Blackjack we have to consider one of the most important details, know how to choose the site of bets, based on this type of choices we make ourselves known to the vast extent of the stakes and we can establish ourselves as the best being that there are aspects and important contributions and benefits we receive from the famous casinos of gambling both online and conventional.

The casino you choose must be one of the best from all points of view, the ease of making deposits, easy to collect our winnings, the speed of software for gambling, the ease with which we can access from anywhere via any device with internet access and many more are details that surprise us to get to class as the best. To play the online blackjack, Live Dealer Casinos is the solution. In this site you will find the best Live Dealer Blackjack and other casino games.

Three-handed, the result of the EPT London looked a hard one to predict. The remaining players were each sizably stacked, each had fire in their eyes, and with a dinner break on the horizon no one felt any need to be hasty.

Then the earth suddenly moved, two hands collided, sending one man to the rail and another into a massive lead. But just as it looked like John Juanda’s four-to-one chip advantage over David Vamplew would have the final wrapped up within minutes, Vamplew began to battle. And what a fight he put up.

The 23-year-old’s previous best result was a cash in a World Series hold’em event earlier this year, but today he showed all the experience of a wise old pro, fighting back to level the chip counts, then digging deeper and deeper when Juanda won it back, finally turning over the winning hand to be crowned newest champion on the European Poker Tour.

David Vamplew, winner of EPT London

If Vamplew is a shock winner of EPT London then it’s because of the man he had to defeat on his way to the title.

Juanda is a pro of the very highest order, a four-time bracelet winner with more than $10.5 million in the tournament bank, a resume comparable with only a handful of players. Two years ago he finished second in the EPT London High Roller £1 million Showdown. Today he settled for second place once more, denied by a Scottish terrier who doesn’t know how to quit. When you think about it, as it fun as it can be to play casino online games, it can never quite replicate the drama of watching grandmasters like these two clash for hours around a small table.

“He got really unlucky,” said Vamplew of Juanda after the final. “It will be really interesting to see what he had when it was broadcast, [to see] what he had when he was getting me off some of my hands.”

John Juanda

Vamplew took to the task of overhauling Juanda’s 19.6 million to 5.6 million chip lead, but it was no straightforward task. At times Vamplew looked physically worn and mentally exhausted, while Juanda remained fresh, occasionally stretching the muscles in his neck, that being his only public show of fatigue. That Vamplew was able to overcome this lent further weight to his achievement tonight.

Back at the start today Juanda had led. Well almost. Actually Bowker arrived at the London Hilton Metropole with a 90,000 advantage over Juanda, but that was quickly overcome, Juanda stretching out toward the 10 million mark as Bowker remained static.

The feature table

The table featured an unusual dynamic, the big stacks of Bowker and Juanda casting shadows over the other six.

Per Ummer was first to depart, eliminated by another short-stack Artur Wasek, before Tom Marchese departed in seventh place, seen off by Vamplew.

Portuguese player Fernando Brito went next, another member of the short-stack club, followed by Kayvan Payman in fifth.

Kayvan Payman

Artur Wasek was no better equipped chip wise but matched his fourth place at EPT Berlin with a similar game plan, one of caution and intense chip management. All-in several times the Polish giant was finally felled by John Juanda, his two final tables in just a few months a remarkable achievement nonetheless.

Artur Wasek

It left Vamplew, Bowker and Juanda, the three players deemed “most likely” all day; Bowker departing in that hand to set up a gruelling heads-up finale, one made memorable for the tireless efforts of the newcomer Vamplew taking on Juanda, one of the game’s genuine legends.

In the last hand, with Juanda reduced to little more than 3 million chips, both players turned over their cards, [ad][3c] for Vamplew against Juanda’s [kd][2d]. When the flop landed [3s][ad][ts] Juanda allowed himself a smile, beaten, unable to crack his young foe.

As far as EPT final tables go this one was a good one and you can read back through all of the action at the links below, and find out who won what here.

Final table profiles
Level 28, 29 & 30 updates
Level 31, 32 & 33 updates

As always our thanks and utmost respect to our foreign friends blogging in Abfall, Huisvuil, Assurdità and Struntprat. Thanks also to our photographers Neil Stoddart and Mickey May.

Aside from a £10,000 6-Max Turbo event and the UKIPT Tournament of Champions tomorrow, Vamplew brings to an end the Festival of EPT London. Alongside the main event ran the High Roller tournament, results for which can be found here, as well as an 8-Game European Championship won by Chris Bjorin, a Ladies event won by Anais Lerouge and a Charity Event won by Dutch player Arnoud van der Werf. There really was something for everyone.

That then wraps up our EPT London coverage. Thanks for joining us in London. Next stop for the tour is Vienna in Austria, where the EPT bandwagon will waltz into the home of Strauss, Freud, Kafka and the Von Trapps. It should be quite a combination. It all starts on 26 October. See you there.

Until then, it’s goodnight from London.

I know I shouldn’t celebrate yet another poker related scandal, but with minimal information, this one is definitely a favorite … six Buddhist monks have resigned over a scandalous video showing some high priests playing high-stakes poker (and drinking and smoking) when they were supposed to be honoring a dead leader. Awesome. Supposedly it was a 13-hour binge … and we all know what the rules of poker discipline say about leaving a good game.

The New York Times says it was for $875,000. (And the New Zealand Herald puts the stakes at NZ $1.1 million.) Holy craps, that’s a big roll. However, we know the mainstream press has a habit of making errors when talking poker. If they are talking 875k South Korean Won, however, the currency converts to more monk-like stakes … about $900.

Exciting nonetheless, especially for holy men who have taken a vow of celibacy.

And the new month brings the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) on PokerStars for players of various bankrolls. There are 40 tournaments over the next two weeks, and each one has three buy-in levels so everyone can play in their own comfort zones. With $30 million in guaranteed prize money and satellites running around the clock, there are many incentives to get in on the action.

All of the SCOOP information can be found at this link, including a leaderboard and list of all satellites for each event.

While playing or following along with that action, the Women’s Sunday was in its usual spot today. The $10K guarantee and the promise of $50 Team Pro bounties for a $55 buy-in brought a solid group of players to the tables today. The final registration numbers were:

Total players: 242
Prize pool: $12,100.00
Paid finishers: 36

There were several Team PokerStars Pros in the field, but two of them exited within moments of each other. Ana Marquez busted in 166th place, and Celina Lin tweeted her elimination in 164th place:

Lost 99 to AK in the @PokerStarsWomen Sunday Try again next week! #timetoflipgood #winaflip

Sandra Naujoks headed out in 145th place, and Team Online’s Adrienne “talonchick” Rowsome registered late and busted late, going out of the tournament in 91st place.

The money bubble burst as the three-hour mark approached, as SADE31 exited on the bubble in 37th place and Lili LaFae took home $90.75 for her 36th place finish. Play moved forward as players like iculook, Aussteiger13, and luzzzy hit the virtual rail.

The final table bubble came on rather quickly. Moments after bezgarantiy was eliminated on one of the two remaining tables, a-nadine moved all-in on the other one. Dntcalmefish called with [Jh][Js], while a-nadine was on the line with [Ah][Tc]. The board of [6c][2s][Ts][7h][8h] wasn’t enough to save a-nadine, who left in tenth place with $193.60.

$TurboPandi leads at the start

The final table began with these starting stacks and at the beginning of Level 18, with blinds of 1,250/2,500 and a 250 ante:

Seat 1: StarlingC (115,117 in chips)
Seat 2: $TurboPandi (169,499 in chips)
Seat 3: nutbreakerLL (101,282 in chips)
Seat 4: lankorio (15,670 in chips)
Seat 5: simobe28 (22,794 in chips)
Seat 6: dntcalmefish (123,781 in chips)
Seat 7: 4Lisa (29,801 in chips)
Seat 8: rosemarie209 (123,729 in chips)
Seat 9: Kispocok91 (24,327 in chips)

On the second hand of action, Kispocok91 made a push for 23,877 from middle position. Lankorio called all-in for 12,720 from the big blind with [Ac][Kc], and Kispocok91 showed [9d][9s]. The better hand only improved to a flush on the [4s][8s][Ts][Th][6s] board and eliminated lankorio in ninth place with $229.90.

Double-ups were in order, and that trend started with 4Lisa doubling through dntcalmefish and simobe28 doing the same through StarlingC. Kispocok91 did it through nutbreakerLL as well.

When StarlingC doubled back through 4Lisa, the latter had a tough time recovering. In fact, it was only a few hands later when 4Lisa pushed her 6,608 chips all-in with [Ad][2c], and dntcalmefish called from the big blind with [9d][3c]. But the board came [Tc][9s][2h][Jc][Qh], giving dntcalmefish the pair of nines and leaving 4Lisa out in eighth place with $302.50.

The very next hand saw simobe28 push all-in with less than 9K chips with [2c][2s], and Kispocok91 had a dominating [Th][Td]. The board of [4d][6s][Jh][Qd][Qh] changed nothing, and simobe28 had to leave in seventh place with $423.50.

After rosemarie209 doubled through nutbreakerLL, the latter participated in some split pots before moving all-in again with [Ad][5c]. Dntcalmefish had [Kd][Qd] and hit the flop of [Qh][Kc][3s]. The two pair stood up to the [9d] turn and [Jd] river, which eliminated nutbreakerLL in sixth place with $544.50.

Rosemarie209 leaps ahead

Things then took a nasty turn for dntcalmefish. After losing some chips and the lead, the all-in move was made by dntcalmefish holding [Kc][Jc], but rosemarie209 called with [Ah][Qh]. The ace-high hand held up to the [Th][6d][2s][5s][9s] board, and dntcalmefish bowed out in fifth place with $701.80.

When $TurboPandi was ready to risk it all with [Tc][Jd], rosemarie209 was there with [Ad][4s] and a supportive board of [9d][7h][As][6c][7s]. That left $TurboPandi out in fourth place with $1,028.50.

StarlingC doubled through rosemarie209 more than once during three-handed play, but this one put the former in the chip lead:

RSS readers click through to see replay

The very next hand saw Kispocok91 push all-in with [Kc][Td], but rosemarie209 quickly called with [Ks][Kd], which only improved to two pair on the [2h][2s][4c][Qc][6h] board. Kispocok91 had to leave in third place with $1,367.30.

Mexico vs. UK heads-up

The last two players standing began their heads-up battle as follows:

Seat 1: StarlingC (331,334 in chips)
Seat 8: rosemarie209 (394,666 in chips)

StarlingC was the aggressor and chipped up into the lead rather quickly. It only took a few rounds for rosemarie209 to risk all of her 280K chips with [3h][3d], and StarlingC snap-called with [Js][Jh]. The board came [9d][2d][9c][5c][Qd], and rosemarie209 had to accept second place and the $1,815.000 in cash that went with it.

StarlingC of Mexico won this week’s Women’s Sunday and $2,474.45 in cash. Congratulations!

Women’s Sunday Results for 05/06/12:

Season 8 of the European Poker Tour is about to come to a close as the EPT Grand Final Main Event is ready to crown a champion in Monaco. The final table was determined Sunday and taking a substantial chip lead into the final day is Bernard Guigon with 4.9 million chips, 2 million more than his closest competitor, Rodrigo Caprioli.

Guigon made hay in the last few hours of the day, starting when play got down to the final nine. Entering final table bubble play with just over 2 million chips, he picked up about 200,000 pre-flop against Lucille Cailly. Shortly thereafter, he got into a hand with Clayton Mozdzen. Mozdzen raised to 125,000 pre-flop and Guigon called from the big blind. After the flop of Tc-8s-4d, Guigon led out for 100,000 and was called by Mozdzen. It was another bet and call on the turn Ac, this time for 150,000. Same pattern when the Ks was dealt on the river, but this bet was big: 450,000. After Mozdzen called, Guigon showed A-K for top two-pair and all Mozdzen could do was muck, increasing Guigon’s stack by about 900,000 from where it was when the hand started.

Our chip leader also eliminated the final player before the final table, knocking out Alex Mostafavi in 9th place and taking around another 900,000 chips in the process. Mostafavi, possibly running some sort of stop-and-go-like move in-position, raised to 250,000 pre-flop and Bernard Guigon called from the big blind. Guigon checked the flop of Th-Td-5d, prompting Mostafavi to shove. Guigon tanked for a couple minutes before quietly calling and flipping over pocket Jacks. Mostafavi had just A-7 for Ace-high. His help never came, as the turn and river didn’t produce an Ace. He didn’t make the official final table, but he did go home with €95,000.

For the remaining eight players, here are the payouts for the final table:

1. €1,500,000
2. €900,000
3. €545,000
4. €400,000
5. €315,000
6. €245,000
7. €185,000
8. €130,000
9. €95,000

The EPT Grand Final final table is a lesson on persistence. Half of the players still alive were in the bottom half of the chip counts entering Day 4. One of them – Daniel Gomez – had fewer than 20 big blinds to start the day and was third to last in chips. And while Bernard Guigon has a very large chip lead, two of the aforementioned bottom four – Gomez and Caprioli – are now in the top half of the final table chip counts.

The final table will commence at 1:30pm local time as the eight finalists vie for the €1,500,000 first prize.

European Poker Tour Grand Final – End of Day 4 Chip Counts

1. Bernard Guigon – 4,900,000
2. Rodrigo Caprioli – 2,945,000
3. Lucille Cailly – 2,865,000
4. Daniel Gomez – 2,665,000
5. Mohsin Charania – 2,215,000
6. Michael Dietrich – 1,550,000
7. Clayton Mozdzen – 1,430,000
8. Sergio Castelluccio – 1,410,000

After an intense two days of battle, the final table is set for the inaugural European Poker Tour stop in Campione, Italy, with two prominent names heading the field of eight who will vie for the title.

99 players returned on Thursday and quickly were able to work their way down to the 88 players who would walk away with a minimum payday of €7500 from the tournament. After those players were determined, however, the survivors were in for a long haul to work their way down to the 24 players who came back on Friday to determine the final table. Notable names who were eliminated during the action on Thursday included former EPT champions Rupert Elder (88th, €7500), Martin Finger (67th, €7500), Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier (61st, €9000), Liv Boeree (51st, €9000) and Roberto Romanello (49th, €9000), while other top pros such as Ivo Donev, Todd Terry and Per Linde also dropped from the field.

Coming back to the tables on Friday, PokerStars qualifier Jannick Wrang led the field with a nice 1.74 million in chips, but Fabrice Soulier was in pursuit with his 1.23 million stack. Lurking further back in the Top Ten was noted cash game player Olivier Busquet (hovering just under a million chips), David Vamplew and Day Two chip leader Balazs Botond.

It took only slightly more than five hours for the remaining 24 men to work their way down to the eight handed EPT final table. Within a half hour of the starting gun, three men had been bounced from the tournament, including former EPT champion Ronnie Kaiser. Vamplew bolstered his stack with the elimination of Andrea Benelli, while Soulier would push his stack upward by knocking out Adrian Veghinas. By the time the players reached the first break, there were only sixteen men remaining, with Koen De Visscher holding onto the lead.

Soulier continued his march to the top of the leaderboard by dropping Alessandro Minasi from the tournament in sixteenth place, putting him at just under two million in chips. When he eliminated Giuseppe Biancouiso in fourteenth, the popular French pro moved into the chip lead. While Soulier was assaulting the other players at the table, Busquet was riding a rollercoaster with his chip stack.

Busquet would put his name into the mix for the EPT Campione title by knocking out the final EPT champion in the field, Vamplew. After the duo (Vamplew in the small blind, Busquet in the big) saw an 8-5-Q flop after a Vamplew raise, Busquet called a continuation bet from Vamplew to see a King on the turn. After Vamplew put another bullet in the chamber for 115K, Busquet moved his remaining chips to the center. As the shorter stack, Vamplew agonized over the decision but eventually made the call, tabling his K-J for a turned top pair. That wasn’t good enough, however, as Busquet showed his Q-8 for a flopped two pair. Once the river blanked, Vamplew was out in tenth place.

The players redrew for the nine handed final table, with Soulier slightly ahead of Wrang, and set about the task of eliminating one more player. While everyone in the Casino di Campione expected a drawn out fight – due to the deep stacks of the players remaining – it took less than an hour for the final elimination of Friday’s action.

After taking some chips off of Botond, Busquet would use that final elimination to cast himself to the top of this particular mountain. After a raise from Wrang, Busquet three bet him, only to see Simeon Naydenov four bet the action. After Wrang dropped from the fight, Busquet moved all in over his shorter stacked foe. Naydenov made a quick call, tabling his pocket Jacks against Busquet’s A-K. The drama was over immediately as Busquet caught on the K-7-4 flop and, once the turn and river brought no Jack, Naydenov was out in ninth place and Busquet soared up the leaderboard.

1. Fabrice Soulier, 3.48 million
2. Olivier Busquet, 3.011 million
3. Jannick Wrang, 2.882 million
4. Balazs Botond, 2.08 million
5. Koen De Visscher, 1.856 million
6. Stefano Puccilli, 1.45 million
7. Mario Nagel, 1.21 million
8. Robin Ylitalo, 1.153 million

The final table for the EPT Campione promises to be one of the more intriguing events of Season Eight. Soulier and Busquet have the pedigrees and the background to storm to the title, but De Visscher also have a wealth of experience. Wrang and Botond has demonstrated some excellent skills during the run of the tournament and – although they are on the bottom of the chip counts – Puccilli, Nagel and Ylitalo are a double up away from putting themselves in the mix.

The final table of the EPT Campione begins at 2PM in the Casino di Campione (8AM Eastern Time) and the champion will take home a hefty €640,000 payday for their efforts.
